Family,
level by level

Family words in Arabic: parents, brothers and sisters, grandparents, husband and wife, sons and daughters, and the general words for family and relatives. Arabic does not split brothers by age, but it does split uncles and aunts by side: ʿamm and ʿamma are your father's brother and sister, khāl and khāla your mother's.

In Lock&Learn Arabic these words sit in their level packs (Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate), one per glance on the widget: a fully vocalized word waits with its romanization; one tap reveals the meaning and a real sentence. Beginner is free in full; every other pack opens with a free preview.

Type to filter by Arabic, romanization or meaning. Flashcards hides the meaning until you tap a row; Shuffle deals the list in a new order.
